Q&A

What if I install these LED bulbs and they flicker or report errors?

Since LED conversion kits use less power than halogen or HID bulbs, if your vehicle is equipped with a CANbus system, there may be a problem because it may think your lights are malfunctioning and cause them not to work properly. At this point, you can solve the problem by adding a plug and play bulb decoder. (few extremely sensitive vehicles can have this problem)

Can I replace an bulb with an LED?

All vehicles fitted with halogen headlight bulbs from the factory are suitable for LED conversion. The main advantage is a massive increase in road illumination and therefore improved safety when driving at night.

Which direction do LED bulbs go?

When you replace a halogen bulb with an LED bulb, it should work the same way as a halogen bulb. Place the LED bulb with the center tab facing up and the LED chip pointing horizontally left and right. If the bulb is installed tilted or upside down, you will get a strange and really bad beam pattern.

What is an LED?

An LED, or Light Emitting Diode, is a source of light used in various applications. When a suitable voltage is applied to its leads, it emits light through a process called "electroluminescence," which we integrate into our products.

How do I determine the brightness of LED bulbs?

In the automotive industry, LED bulb brightness is often measured in lumens (luminous flux), which represents the amount of visible light to the human eye. Check the lumen rating to assess the total visible light output of the LED lamp.

What is color temperature, and how do I match headlamps with fog lights?

Color temperature refers to the light's color, measured in kelvins (K). It's essential to consider color temperature when purchasing LED lamps to match them with your existing lights for a consistent look.

Good way to upgrade the look

All in less than an hour to install and a huge upgrade

Got these new headlights for my 2010 f150 xlt chrome.

They came well packaged in one large box, with two smaller boxes for each headlight. No issues.

Install was a breeze and completely plug and play with the existing harnesses.

Once installed, the headlights have an up/down adjustment screw to level them.

All in less than an hour to install and a huge upgrade. Car looks better than the newer F150s.

I'm very happy with this product.

I installed these on my 2011 F150 and love the new look. I wanted to "update" the look of my truck because I have no intentions of buying another truck anytime soon. This did the trick for me. They really were "plug and play" and the installation was straight forward and easy. There is no splicing of wires for power/ground with these which is what I wanted. The LED tube that runs around the outer rim of the light looks great and is bright at night. When the parking and/or head lights are on, the LED tube and turn signal portions of the light are white. Using the turn signal causes the turn signal light to flash amber. They are an exact match for the halogen bulbs and installed easily. I haven't had any flashing lights from oncoming cars so, hopefully, I'm good. No matter. These are very nice lights and have updated the look of my 2011 pickup to appear like more recent trucks. I'm very happy with this product.
