Determining the appropriate bulb size for your car is crucial before purchasing LED headlight bulbs. To check your headlight bulb model, you can:
- Consult Your Owner’s Manual: The manual usually specifies the bulb type for your vehicle.
- Inspect the Bulb: Remove the existing bulb from the socket and look for markings on the base. These often indicate the model number (like H11, 9005, etc.).
- Use Hawkglow Bulb Finder by searching vehicle year, make, and model.
Returns Policy
If for any reason you are unhappy with your order or should you wish to return or exchange a product then please contact us at contact@hawkglow.com at any time from Monday to Friday within 90 days after you received the item.
Send email to contact@hawkglow.com to apply for return,once received and check your return and you will be refunded. We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. What if I install these LED bulbs and they flicker or report errors?
Since LED conversion kits use less power than halogen or HID bulbs, if your vehicle is equipped with a CANbus system, there may be a problem because it may think your lights are malfunctioning and cause them not to work properly. At this point, you can solve the problem by adding a plug and play bulb decoder. (few extremely sensitive vehicles can have this problem)
Can I replace an bulb with an LED?
All vehicles fitted with halogen headlight bulbs from the factory are suitable for LED conversion. The main advantage is a massive increase in road illumination and therefore improved safety when driving at night.
Which direction do LED bulbs go?
When you replace a halogen bulb with an LED bulb, it should work the same way as a halogen bulb. Place the LED bulb with the center tab facing up and the LED chip pointing horizontally left and right. If the bulb is installed tilted or upside down, you will get a strange and really bad beam pattern.
What is an LED?
An LED, or Light Emitting Diode, is a source of light used in various applications. When a suitable voltage is applied to its leads, it emits light through a process called "electroluminescence," which we integrate into our products.
How do I determine the brightness of LED bulbs?

Color temperature refers to the light's color, measured in kelvins (K). It's essential to consider color temperature when purchasing LED lamps to match them with your existing lights for a consistent look.

Hey everyone, had an order of these LED's come in, and installed them into my Toyota Matrix. Going from a Halogen bulb to these LED's makes all the difference that I need for my early morning and late night drives. I do mostly highway runs and these LED's really add the brightness I need, to see whats on the road ahead of me. I will never go back to what i had installed, as these are just that good!
